Workshop on Mathematical Projects

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana, Pune is organizing a workshop on “Mathematical Projects” for
mathematics teachers of colleges and universities. There will be four interactive sessions, in
the workshop. The speakers will elaborate on various topics suitable for the projects.

Undergraduate Workshop on Foundations of Mathematics

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana, Pune is organizing a 10 days workshops from June 1 to 10, 2018. This workshop is for the students who are in S. Y. B. Sc and want to peruse T. Y. B.Sc. Mathematics. Topics to be covered in this workshop are Foundation of Mathematics,  One Variable Calculus and Matrices.

There will be two one and half hour lectures and two problem sessions every day. Every participant will be given tea and lunch. A limited accommodation at concessional
rate is possible.

LaTeX Workshop

LaTeX is a document preparation system which is widely used in academics. Though it was invented for writing mathematics “beautifully” during 1985, nowadays, LaTeX is used not only to write documents in mathematics but also physics, computer science, engineering, economics, psychology, social and political sciences. LaTeX is being widely used to create research papers, presentations, publish books and large documents.

Workshop on PROBLEM SOLVING IN MATHEMATICS AT THE P.G. LEVEL

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthan, Pune will be organizing a Workshop on Problem Solving in Mathematics at the P.G. Level. There will be weekly lectures on various topics in Mathematics with stress on problem solving that will be organized in the workshop. The speakers will be experienced teachers from various colleges in Pune and the S.P. Pune University. The participants are encouraged to come together and discuss problems. The details are as follows:
