Project consists of organizing four workshops (of 5 days each) for popularization of Open Source Mathematical Software at the National level in the educational field.

The aim of the workshops will be to familiarize the participants to Mathematical Software for teaching and learning of Mathematics.

Under the project "Use of Open Source Software for Teaching of Mathematics" the Third 5 day National workshop will be held during 22nd to 26th November 2010 on Advancded LaTeX.

Under the project "Use of Open Source Software for Teaching of Mathematics"  the Fourth  5 day National  workshop will be held during  27th  to  31st  January 2011  on Computer Algebra System

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthan, Pune will be organizing a Workshop on Problem Solving in Mathematics at the P.G. Level. There will be weekly lectures on various topics in Mathematics with stress on problem solving that will be organized in the workshop. The speakers will be experienced teachers from various colleges in Pune and the S.P. Pune University. The participants are encouraged to come together and discuss problems. The details are as follows:

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana, Pune will be organizing a “Two-day Workshop in Analysis and Algebra at the P.G. Level.” Experienced teachers from the field of mathematics in and around Pune will guide the students during the programme.

LaTeX is a document preparation system which is widely used in academics. Though it was invented for writing mathematics “beautifully” during 1985, nowadays, LaTeX is used not only to write documents in mathematics but also physics, computer science, engineering, economics, psychology, social and political sciences. LaTeX is being widely used to create research papers, presentations, publish books and large documents.

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana, Pune is organizing a 10 days workshops from June 1 to 10, 2018. This workshop is for the students who are in S. Y. B. Sc and want to peruse T. Y. B.Sc. Mathematics. Topics to be covered in this workshop are Foundation of Mathematics,  One Variable Calculus and Matrices.

There will be two one and half hour lectures and two problem sessions every day. Every participant will be given tea and lunch. A limited accommodation at concessional
rate is possible.
