Advanced Mathematical Olympiad Training Programme - Level 2 (2025)

Date of Commencement of the course:

• 15th June 2025

• More than 75% marks or equivalent grade in Mathematics in 8th Standard, familiarity with the recommended syllabus for RMO (refer https://olympiads.hbcse.tifr.res.in/how-to-prepare/syllabus/), also a keen interest in Mathematics and willingness to work hard.
• Students are also expected to have developed a good understanding of the topics covered in the syllabus for the Olympiad Level 1 batch.

• Online Batch
  • Thursday: 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm

• Rigorous problem solving for preparation for RMO/INMO.
• Introduction to some topics in Higher Mathematics.
• A student is expected to make a serious attempt at PRMO/ IOQM , RMO or higher exams during the year.
• The lectures will be problem based.
• Theoretical tools will be recalled but may not be done in detail.

• Focus will be on solving problems of a sufficiently high difficulty level, equivalent to those posed in RMO and INMO.
