Mathematical Olympiad training programme

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana is launching an accelerated Mathematical Olympiad training programme on the occasion of the golden jubilee.


Dr. Mrudul Thatte (IMO 2011 Bronze, IMO 2012 Silver, PhD Columbia University 2023) will train the students.

Prior experience of Olympiad mathematics is not necessary. The goal is to enable students to attempt Olympiad exams at appropriate levels and pursue further training in the coming years.

ROTARY GANIT OLYMPIAD

The ROTARY GANIT OLYMPIAD is an annual mathematical competition for students in standard 7, 8 and 9, 10 whether from public or private institutions. Created in 2001, it currently operates as a partnership between Rotary Club of pune pride and the Ganit Adhyapak Mandal (Mathematcal Society), as a supporting institution and Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana as our associated partner.

RMO - 2017 Summer training

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana conducts camps in the vacations  to give introduction to the mathematics leading to the Regional Mathematics Olympiad. The camps are well known and has given boost to many students appearing for RMO. The camp is for students outside Pune.

Camp: Introduction To Mathematics  Olympiad. (For students of 8th standard and above)

Date  : Sunday, 30th April to Sunday, 7th May 2017.

RMO - 2016 Summer training

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana conducts camps in the vacations  to give introduction to the mathematics leading to the Regional Mathematics Olympiad. The camps are well known and has given boost to many students appearing for RMO. The camp is for students outside Pune , very few students from the outskirts of Pune may be admitted if the seats are available.

The Regional Mathematical Olympiad 2016 (RMO-2016) for Maharashtra and Goa Region [TBA]

Mr. Prashant Sohani is the Regional Co-ordinator for Maharashtra and Goa region.

 

RMO - 2015 Summer training

The summer training will be aimed at introducing novice students to the Olympiad level Mathematics and motivating them to study for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad. The subjects taught will be Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory and Combinatorics.
