Bhaskaracharya Mathematics Talent Search Competition (BMTSC) 2019

Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana has a very high reputation in training the school students which leads to the training for International Mathematics Olympiad. Bhaskaracharya Pratishthana has started this activity from 2015, to commemorate the 900th birth anniversary of the legendary Indian Mathematician Bhaskaracharya II. Conducting a mathematics competition at school level would be a fitting tribute to Bhaskaracharya.

Objectives

  1. Identify good students of mathematics at an early age.

  2. A pre Olympiad type competition.

  3. To enhance Mathematical ability and logical thinking.

  4. Nurture programms for the successful students to improve their ability.
Eligibility

  • Students of 6 th and 5 th standards from all over India.
Syllabus

  • Mathematics syllabus up to 6 th standard (of all the boards of S.S.C., C.B.S.E., N.C.E.R.T and I.C.S.E.)
Registration from

  • 26th August 2019 to 15th October 2019
Day and Date

  • Sunday 1st December 2019 12.00 noon to 3 pm. (Reporting time 11.40 a.m.)
Venue

  • Centres will be displayed on www.bprim.org

  • Interested Headmasters of schools with 20 or more participants can approach Pratishthana to have centre, at their place.
Examination Fee

  • 150/- per student.

  • A deserving student recommended by the Headmaster may get concession in the fee at the discretion of the coordinator.

 

  • The names of participants and their fees should be forwarded through the Principal on or before 24th October 2019.

  • Payment can be made through Demand Draft or amount can be paid in to the bank account.

  • List of the participants should be communicated with all the details.

  • Results will be declared in the first week of February 2020 at the respective centres.

  • Certificates will be given for all the participants.

Prizes :

  • First :  3000/-
  • Second : 2000/-
  • Third:  1000/-
  • All the prizes will be with mementos.
  • The cheer prizes in terms of books will be given.
  • Nurture training for the successful students will be arranged.
